Okay, maybe more serious than we like our content here, but I feel like "kids need to read more" is a zombie social concern that's outlived it's technological era. You still hear it, but it's hella ironic with the generation that wants everything in email or text form.

It's due to the presence of butyric acid in american books. Try some european books one day!
