Submit new emoji here.
A good submission is:
- Visually clear at a small size (120 pixel width) [This does not mean upload the small image, this means upload the source image or full size cutout but test prior.]
- Have a transparent background to the greatest degree possible. This online tool can remove many backgrounds.
- Display a clear emotion or purpose
- If including text, should be properly sized to be readable
- "Evergreen" and not something that will be irrelevant after the next news cycle
- Formatted in PNG, GIF, or SVG to make our file optimization cycles easier. If svg initially, send svg in a seperately hosted link to WhyEssEff. Same with gif, as we render them as mp4 IIRC.
- Have proposed title as the title of the post, nothing more, nothing less.
- Post body should include a suggested category and keywords.
- Max height of 3 times the width.
Rules:
- No reactionary or reactionary-adjacent expressions. The purpose of an image is what it expresses. Some clear examples for this rule:
- Allowed: Broken fasces, burning stars-and-bars, rotated Mussolini
- Disallowed: Body-shaming, Pepes, gay-shaming the enemy (e.g. those pictures of Putin and Trump that libs love to post), certain hateful wojaks (even if recontextualized)
- If you think you have touched on a grey area, see rule 7 for how to litigate this.
- ~~Nothing Vaush-related is allowed~~
- To be honest, I broke this rule, so it's pretty much moot. Just run it by me first in DMs or matrix. Vaush is a bit of a dead horse, so to speak, so they're still generally discouraged. The qualification for a viable emote referencing his existence is more a matter of execution

- No desecration of religious imagery.
- This rule does not extend to the subordinate representations of religious symbolism present within the flags and/or iconography of nations, political parties, or militant groups.
- Nothing sexually explicit or overtly horny is allowed
- :hentai-free:
- No sectarianism in submissions. Pro-tendency content is fine, but we will not accept content degrading specific tendencies.
- No gore, no SA, no sui-bait. Nothing that could reasonably trigger a comrade.
- If you think you're touching on a grey area with a submission, message @whyesseff:matrix.org to clear it before you post.
- DISCLAIMER: Clearing does not necessarily mean that I'll add it, just that it's alright to submit and the rules will not be the barrier to its addition

This is not a pipe
This is not Hinduism
This is not Judaism.
Well the Jewish guys are but the flag they are burning is what I mean
So we give zionist the exception because they chose the correct immutable symbol 70 years ago?
There is no "we" because hexbear isn't a fascist site.
Only in the diseased minds of pearl clutching liberals like yourself. The rest of Earth knows what's up when they see a symbol representing a burning flag of genocide. Spread hasbara in hell.
I'm sorry, but this is a leap. If it was reddit maybe, but we're talking about a whole flag represented by a terrible place. Not an individual portion of the flag
The cross is the main feature of
.
Nobody ever gassed the English and chucked the bodies in ovens, either. It's not a reference to a specific genocide.
Great, no one ever gassed Israel either. So unless you think Israel represents Jews, we're in agreement.
We're going to just argue around in circles here because you can't see why making a special exception for the flag of Israel, on the basis that its star of David extends like a shield over the entire symbol to make it a symbol of Judaism, is a fundamentally Zionist and Jewish exceptionalist point in a way that "we got the other flags burning, let's go ahead and also have one for Israel (despite the tangential and subjective similarity between the fire emoji and the ovens used to cremate the bodies of victims of the Holocaust, two concepts that are only related because the Zionists want their flag to represent all Jews)" simply isn't.
If someone really uses the new Israel-cool emoji in an antisemitic way, I'll be the first one reporting it and dragging the user who does it. FWIW they could already use
in some way or another to be antisemitic if it came to it.
Whether or not we have an emoji of the flag of Israel burning isn't an excuse to let our guard down against antisemites.
What the fuck is this cope? No one but the liberal zionists like you has been "playing into 100 years of pissraeli propaganda tying it to Judaism", you are the fucking zionazi coper repeating fascist amerikkkan legalistic arguments in support of securing an exception for pissrael, whining about how "MUH STAR OF DAVID == JUDAISM NO EXCEPTIONS".
And my IRL experiences are that the vast fucking majority of people agree that burning the pissraeli flag symbolically or irl is not antisemetic. You have overdosed on hasbara copium and are lost in your own twisted fascist delusions.
Go away we don't want fascists here.
It isn't antisemitic, you and zionists are the only people who think so, every other jewish person here has said it isn't, and plenty of jewish people who don't post on this website have said enough on the topic to corroborate that.
no one on this website wants antisemitism, every instance of it that I have seen has been shut down by multiple people, this emoji existing isn't going to stop those people from trying to post here nor is it going to stop us from kicking those people out. if all the Jewish people who have spoken up so far are aligned with all the Arabs and Muslims on this issue, who are you to unilaterally claim otherwise?
20 years of holding back the struggle.
Fascists are neither reasonable nor people so their opinions are nothing but garbage. Look at how ridiculous these fucking Zionist copers are.
Why do zionists always feel so comfortable putting thoughts and words into other peoples' minds?
You are the problem
Get over yourself
Would you have this energy for the burning of the ISIS or Saudi flag
A burning flag isn't a reference to death camps jfc
To expand on FunkyStuff's point, should we remove the
emote because a burning cross evokes the cross burnings of the KKK?
No, a burning cross isn't a burning crucifix.
?
Neither involve burning crucifixes
The only reason why the KKK would burn crucifixes is to say Catholics aren't welcome because the KKK is traditionally anti-Catholic, but that was mostly true for the first and second iteration of the KKK.
Sorry, I was thinking of the Latin cross.
Look, I'm going to be blunt. You should log off, take a break, and ask yourself why you're defending the flag of a genocidal state bent on mass murder.
There's obviously a much closer link between an image of a burning flag that contains a cross and a KKK cross burning, than between an image of a burning flag that contains a star of David and the event in which concentration camp inmates who had been forced to wear golden stars of David were gassed.
christians aren't minoritized and the conflation of crosses is silly. i agree "evokes the ovens" is a stretch
Totally fair. I just don't have any other religious symbols on flags to compare to, since the Saudi and Turkish flags never got their burning versions as an afterthought once it was settled that there wouldn't be an :israel-cool:.
hmm maybe we should revisit those next, separate from this post.
It's not an emoji of a star of david or Zionist flag in an oven
You are quite literally the only person in this whole thread making that argument. If the symbols were actually evocative of what you claim, don't you think there would be one other person agreeing? Or are you just jumping at shadows?
Zionist scratched
you are doing multiple levels of abstraction for your logical leaps which somehow still begin and end at a zionist talking point.
am I supposed to tell you to touch grass now or to kill yourself? I can't tell which one gives me mod powers, is it a combination of both?
in all seriousness, what are you doing?? what is going on?
The plebbit tier zionazi is calling other users plebbitors, priceless. You fuck off back to r/Israel where you will be more welcome
