Yeah the gods stuff is becoming more and more interesting! I didn't expect the pantheon to be deeper than what was revealed with the Harley. It probably ties into the lost kingdom from the Void Century somehow
I'm personally going for the science fictiony approach that the Gods are stand-ins for super advanced technology from the first world that made it to the second world. One Piece has gotten a lot more science fiction lately and I'm all for it (like describing the flooding of the world as a result of using nuclear weapons and such).
