Let's just say I've really enjoyed being here compared to other places online.
IRL I run into the opposite problem with my friend groups. Various journeys and learning in a very liberal area in a red state. It gets complicated sometimes. But we are getting there slowly. Even if I do have to clench my jaw so hard to not just plunge people into the deepend who clearly can't handle it.
This one bi guy in our group would be great with theory and putting it in a practical use with rules and guidelines. But he's still stuck in electorialism hell. Thankfully we are decently frank about what we want and protecting people so I'm not worried about that. But you can't exactly walk up to someone and put Marx, Lenin, etc in front of someone with out setting off the minesweeper in the brain. So it's taking some time and a lot of patience when I'm normally about as subtle as a bull in a china shop.
But I'm off the point and rambling now.
