I often kept some smaller versions if these in my fridge. I could easily grab a bottle of water whenever I wanted instead of filling it with plastic one time use bottles or cans of pop.
Can't you just fill it from the tap?
The bottles were filled from the tap. But this meant I had cold, convenient water I could just grab a drink when I was thirsty.
Also, having items in a fridge makes the fridge more energy efficient.
It's the perfect size for icing a 24z pot of tea.
