Yes. The most prevalent brand of mobile toilets in Germany is called Dixie, so everyone is just calling them Dixie toilets.
Porta potti on the other hand are camping toilets mostly used in caravans.
Very cool! That's the same way we call face tissue kleenex regardless of the brand.
Porta Potti is a brand as well. There a bunch of different names by companies out there.
