I thought adding chlorine to a pool wouldn't be that difficult...
They added bleach and peroxide. On their own, each can combat algae even though there are better ways. Together, they make eachother less effective.
but they were using gallon jugs, and dint look like they dumped a large amount either.
To be sure, their efforts were both inept and ineffective for the scale of the issue.
