if you hated the movie, i understand leaving as fast as possible. but if you liked the movie? won't you stay there a little longer, think about the movie, let it think in, spend some time in the mindset of the movie before returning to everyday life?

I need to pee when the movie is over. If I want to sit and contemplate the plot, I can do it on the toilet

There's at least one app, (RunPee) and probably some websites, that will tell you the best time to take a quick mid-movie break. I usually pick a big fight scene myself because there's less dialogue/plot development and the outcome will be apparent on my return. I do miss the theater from my childhood that piped the soundtrack in to the bathrooms.

Surely the best time to pee is during the credits....

Not if you can't make it that long. And having to leave during the big climax is the worst.
