I will say, this charlie coin shit kinda shows how much smarter the republicans are at enshrining their brainworms at the peak of their cultural dominance, minting a coin of the guy who in 4 years no one will care about is doing just that. When the democrats had this they were doing land acknoledgments, which obviously is something that people have to choose to keep doing even when it stops being in fashion, so they're not doing it now, minting a coin of an indigenous person or something would've been longer lasting

That's not true, if this is the design, JD Vance will thank them forever for redirecting the jaby-vance memes

They did that kind of with the Sacagawea coins that everyone except my grandma hated and made fun of

I loved those coins the annoying part was that you could only get them at the post office

I loved saving em up from Christmas gifts my grandma would give over the years, and spending like $30 at once all in coins lol

I remember seeing those advertised on TV back when I was a kid.

I used to get those and $2 bills from an elderly relative all the time lol

I wouldn't give them that much credit. When was the last time you used a dollar coin? I wouldn't be surprised if most Americans didn't know who was on the dollar coin, much less a limited edition run.
