Also I'd argue Lenin looked pretty good for a dude in his 50s.
wtf he was in his 50s? I always just assumed he was hard-bitten and in his late 30s
So he was in his 40s when most of the actual big shit in his life went down. He died at 53, I believe because he had really poorly managed hypertension that lead to a stroke. So yeah I was off a little. But honestly for a dude who went bald in his mid 20s I'd say he rocked it pretty alright. Dude was a short king though, he was only 5'5".
And his hypertension couldn't have been helped by the fact that he worked long days in a nation ravaged by civil war and had just about the most stressful job of any head of state at the time
He also was gravely injured in an assassination attempt by the SRs where he was shot in the chest. That is likely the major reason for his early death, complications arising from that, as he was never quite the same after and had to begin stepping back from official duties.
Also Stalin kept dissing his wife, which PISSED HIM OFF
Yeah there's a kind of magic that happens when you find the right facial hair style for you. Lenin had it, Tom Savini has it, Hitler did not have it,
