Even though by the time I could pick my own taste in music they were pushing Core was 20 years old, I think they're one of the best bands OAT. Scott's lyrics are sort of like "pop poetry" to me and Trippin' has one of the coolest guitar solos I've ever heard. Chord progressions and baselines are just interesting, not too complex, but never boring and each song sticks is pretty much exactly as long as it needs to be and their unplugged album is incredible.

Dad loves them so we've seen the revived version with the new singer twice now. Has anybody seen them live in the 90s and then with the not-Scott singer?

One problem: they didn't headline this show, the headliner was Godsmack and HOLY SHIT THEY ARE AWFUL

STP is older than the 60s or 70s were when Core released what is it if not literally classic

I guess I tend to define these things based on static years, rather than how old it is relative to the present?

Are we going to be calling 30 Seconds To Mars classic rock in a couple decades?

hopefully by then we'll have the technology to physically scrub all record of Jared Leto from history and memory. I'm also mostly just playin'
