No one gives a shit. The only time it matters to anyone is when they want to bash the argies about it or when they're jacking themselves off about how "WE USED TO BE AN EMPIREEEEE RAAAAAAAAAGGHH" bullshit nationalism.
The usual "but the islanders want to be british" argument comes out but nobody applies that consistently, if they did then they would say the same about Crimeans wanting to be Russian.

Afaik 90% British White, 5% Latin American (Mostly Argentina and some Chileans and Uruguayans), 5% Asians and 5% Africans. Theres only 3.500 people living there though.
