Wizard flipping unironically kind of turned me leftist. One of the guys at the festival i talked to later told someone else in my group that he saw me literally change overnight. But I think that was more of a "you are primed to realize all these things but just need something to kick off the avalanche" type deal
It’s the latter. I know a guy who used LSD visions to explain Randian bullshit and became basically a libertarian to fed-adjacent chud.
