This isn't charitable at all. Explaining why many people in the global south believe queer rights are a western plot is not the same as advocating for tailism as a stratedgy.
Declaring homophobia to have any "sliver of merit" based on supposed intrinsic qualities of homosexuality is clearly homophobic.
Seeing how they're making the point that the individualistic view that would cause someone to draw that conclusion is a mistake, I think it's safe to assume that it's just a bad choice of words
There are much better explanations of the mistake having to do with the historical infiltration of some queer rights groups by color revolutionaries rather than citing how being gay is especially easy to turn into an "individualist pursuit" and therefore has some small intrinsic openness to bourgeois ideology. They are welcome to correct themselves, but I'm not just going to replace some bullshit they said with something that makes sense because that's not being charitable, that's deluding oneself.
Yeah tying being gay to the individualistic pursuit bit sounds two steps away from breaking out the skull measuring callipers the more I look at it.
On a personal note, I think I'm specially vulnerable to that kind of propaganda, but I suppose it's not any specific trait and it's just that propaganda is just more effective in general when it targets things you care about.
Not cool to police how people write. Not everyone prefers to write in perfect Standard English, for a variety of reasons encompassing culture, class, race, age, and native language. Even if they are not an adult, then they are still welcome. Hexbear ToS allows anyone over 13.

If a straight person is being anti-communist, which btw is a lot more likely to happen, given how much more widespread reactionary views are among them, your accelerationist ass would never accuse them of "their cisness and heterosexuality being easily co-opted by capitalism" even though that is literally how cishetnormativity functions under capitalism.

And naturally due to this, it's at least understandable nations in the imperial periphery are wary, especially of interference from NGOs. But in the same way that capitalists often need the working class to act against their own interests, it took a lot of setup to get queer people to be active participants in imperialism. Which does not mean that there's any sliver of merit in regarding queer issues as bourgeois, or even that it's fair to say they're "very easy to co-opt for the bourgeois". Also, since queer issues encompass a lot more than just sexuality, and sex is by no stretch "the very base of the needs pyramid" I don't really rate that quote.
