3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

There have been significant protests, but they have not been exactly massive, and the demands have been pretty lame.
Several European countries have had bigger protests recently over less than what the Trump regime represents.
I acknowledge that there are good Americans too, but they are not the ones in control, and they are the minority.
USA as a country remains extremely fucked, the fact that ICE has been allowed to continue their abuse and killings for so long is insane, and only possible because the American police has formed precedence and done the same almost since the independence. USA is so used to violence and abuse of minorities, they don't even notice, and they think it's normal, because in USA it actually is normal. A tradition that is probably stillbaccepted because of long periods of slavery, and later oppressing people of color. To now oppressing those and other minorities too.
Democracy is not the mentality of the American people, oppression is.
4/5 of the largest protests in US history have happened since 2025 directly as a response to trumps shit.
Which ones? How big?
Spoken like someone who's never actually dealt with anything other than our news filtered through your news.
Considering you're in Europe, the world experts in imperialism, brutal ethnic suppression, you still wear fucking blackface, you don't even see the issues with your treatment of migrants as a problem, and a fair number of the protests I found while trying to figure out which one you meant were "anti migrant", I feel like that's a bit of a rich sentiment.
You do know that one of the most offensive policies trump has been pursuing is to rollback our citizenship rules to those that are the norm in Europe?
The US is much larger than almost any European country. Also, the protests have been the largest in American history, which I think is significant considering how brow beaten the people are by media, politicians, and the education system. You act like there is a switch somewhere that will make all this better, but with the difficulty of modifying our constitution the only way that really changes is a total revolution, which does not guarantee a better government in it's place, but does guarantee pain for all but those that can afford to escape. Why don't you get that this isn't easy? Trust me, I wish change had happened sooner, and I have used my vote and my voice to advocate for change, but I'm also willing to consider nuance and be sympathetic, which appears to be beyond your grasp at this time.
Did it change anything? Were there any serious demands? And when absolutely nothing happened, did people increase the efforts?
No to both, Americans went home thinking they'd done their due diligence. After all the actual acute problems mostly hit minorities, and everything will hopefully be fine after the next election.
You can whitewash this however you want, the end result remains that the Trump administration is continuing unhindered by any part of the American society and "checks and balances" that clearly don't work.
Kudos to the ones that tried, but they don't change that USA is continuing the decent the Americans have voted for. Giving insane Republicans the majority in the house the senate and the Presidential position.
As the sycophants say. 3 strikes and you're out!! The American population has done it as decisively as is possible. There are no ifs or buts about it. The mentality of the American people is clear. And it is the absolute worst of all democracies in the world together with Israel, which is also a country of delusional religious fanatics.
The Americans in question
"Waaaah waaaaaaaaah! If I was in America I'd strap on my political change bootstraps and take my local bus on a 15 hour drive to DC and ...?... until everything was fixed"
What a pointless response.
