Still softballs the fuck out of this for Ukraine as if they haven't been a proxy this whole time. Wake up baby boy its time to go to school very-smart

The comments are special as well

Ukraine is pretty much the only 'western' country with a legitimate grievance against Iran, Iran has for years supplied Russia with munitions that they fire at Ukraine, and that is one accusation that Trump and his admin never make against Iran to justify their warmongering.

Ok so bombing kids is ok if your reasoning is different? Logistics chains all start in China so are you going to advocate for nuking China next? Radlibs please read a book

It's this simple: Ukraine is a smaller country than Russia. Russia invading Ukraine gives Russia bad optics in the eyes of people whose only frame of reference for politics is David vs Goliath, big guy vs the little guy, Hunger Games, and Harry Potter.

Why can't those same people apply that logic to the US invading a random third world country every decade or so?

Many of them do. There are many, many people who oppose the US starting wars and think Ukraine is a totally different situation. It's almost the default position these days.

plenty do. it’s the ukr/palestine quartet of the political compass
