Thanks for sharing the link. OP probably did this in the less moderated sub because Israel/Palestine topic is an instant deletion on /r/singapore. Things are a bit awkward, 15% of Singapore is Muslim and of Malay heritage, not to mention the people who are not Malay nor Muslim who are against genocide. The Singapore economy relies heavily on these people to do many critical manual labors and work in medical industry as nurses. However, Singapore is Isn't-real no.1 ally in Asia for sharing techs, defense, and engineering. They also help launder/act as shell to Israeli corporations so they can do business in countries that are more antagonistic against Israel like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, etc.

Singapore ain't got the international chops to arrest or do anything serious to international British hip hop band who's been around since the 90s and well known for their political stances. It would be a PR disaster. What OP did is ratfucking their fellow Singapore citizens who are organizers of the event.
