That might have been decent proof 60 years ago, but it would be almost trivial for a rover to set up a mirror now.

IMO, the best evidence for the Moon landing is the fact that the USSR didn't call bullshit.

They've been doing it since 1969 though. Sure, you can claim that it could easily be done with a rover, but back in 1969 there was no rover and the reflectors were still put up and could be tested by anyone who had access to the equipment required to aim a laser and detect the reflection. Granted that's not something Blue Collar Joe Schmoe would be able to do.
