Any addiction should be treated the same way:
Decriminalization, destigmatization and plenty of help for quitting.
Also a redefinition of addiction would be in order, as we don't treat some things like a proper and possibly harmful addiction, while other more harmless things are treated in a hostile manner.
It's almost as if there's a state sanctioned, profitable for companies consumption and a less profitable for companies, criminalized consumption and the problems are systemic...
