I think there's a severe lack of counter-hegemony in our societies. What do I mean by this?

Neoliberals were forced to try to be at least a little bit progressive, because of the defeat of Nazism by Communist forces, which is what made violence and inequality extremely unpopular.

The people in charge of the Neoliberal order, have had every material incentive to remove everything and anything to do with class consciousness, from these movements. You can see this attitude in every single Counter-Cultural movement that is allowed to exist, because those movements are not Counter-Hegemonic

This has created an atomized society with walls around us and makes it very easy to maintain Established order. It's not like we're seeing big Capital fail because of people's resistance, no, it's failing because of inherit self-contradictions, which then creates opportunities to radicalize people, hopefully in a way that takes their desire for equality and freedom and then truly universalizes them. Which you have to include Marxism in the equation, if you really want to make a world where everyone is "equal", where everyone has access to food, shelter and safety, somewhere people find joy in participating in, rather than escaping it.
