Is it okay if it's military surplus? I have an old Soviet trenchcoat I got for like 40 bucks and it has a leather collar but I bought it second hand.
generally that breaks on whether using it creates demand for more leather goods, and i doubt it does so meaningfully, and also that's an awfully individualist concern for people to have.
I wasn't being super serious but I tend to agree with that line. Also it's really nice to have in the winter.
