idk it seems like a bait, why would they use the word Nazi specifically? You can explain the same thing in different words and most Americans would be very understanding. You could just explain that you're into being dommed, that's how you process trauma, that you like the sleek design of a ~~Nazi~~ German Uniform because of how authoritarian it looks.

A lot of this could have been resolved with conversation to get further context, but like if they start saying things like "No, the Swastika has to stay on." Then yeah, maybe something is up after all.
