i mean isn't classic rock anything older than 15 years? that was how it was in the 90s iirc
a couple years ago the local alternative station said "for today's throwback here's Macklemore's Thrift Shop".

Last night I listened to Avril Lavigne's I'm With You on repeat like 20 times. I remembered it as being "of my time", figured I was a teen when it came out
It came out in 2002, I was 8, and Avril Lavigne is not just a little older than me, not early 30s, she's 41.
