December 24th, 2025: BVWSC

  • Brush: Summer Break Soaps - w/Maggard Silvertip 28mm Badger
  • Razor: Chiseled Face Legacy Raw Titanium - (#69)
  • Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (3)
  • Lather: Woolly Wash Soapery - Night at the Pub - Soap
  • Post Shave: Noble Otter - The Night Before - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: Nivea - Sensitive - Balm

Today is the monthly meeting of the Buena Vista Wetshaving Social Club (BVWSC), organized on https://sub.wetshaving.social/ and/or https://wetshav.ing/.

This month we're using Night at the Pub, sent to use by @snooting@wetshav.ing. The smush smelled a lot like clove, but after lathering it changed completely! It turned into more of a mulled wine scent to me -- very fitting for the season. The soap took some work to get enough loaded into this nice soft badger, but I'm sure it'd go faster with a synthetic or if I knew to go at it with more water. In the end I got a super nice result!
