Wouldn't say so, Taiwan's territorial claims are basically China's + even more territory as well as the South China Sea. It just adds to the farce of it all.
Yes, that is indeed what I said. Essentially, Taiwan hasn't been in a position to negotiate any land claims since it hasn't been in charge. It also can't and won't unilaterally let go of any of those claims - either because of the status quo or because they also have assets in the South China Sea.
Genuinely, that’s sorta what will happen when they reunite. They’ve constantly said they’ll continue the one country, two systems rule and let it remain capitalist, with some interference to make things better overall.
