That is probably because they didn't have masked ICE agents occupying cities and shooting white ladies in the face.
You can't dox info that is meant to be public, like the identify of public employees. They're not wearing masks because they're doing things legally.
I think there's some confusion between cause and effect going on in this chain.
Ever stop to think that if the media, opposing party, regular citizens, and even voters in the same party, are all calling these actions facist that maybe...JUST MAYBE..... Its because it reeks of facist ideology and anyone that has studied history during the 1930s+40s know what it looks and sounds like? Obama wasn't in the habit of having unidentified, masked federal agents breaking into citizen's house without warrants, then keeping them in concentration camps, where they die or maybe get arbitrarily deported. People aren't complaining about illegal immigrants getting deported. It's the weaponization if the federal government against citizens and the lack of due process, which is afforded to all individuals regardless of how they ended up in the US.
Your numbers are a strawman argument commonly used by people that don't know what they're talking about or are maliciously arguing in bad faith. Your lack of critical thinking leaves both options up for debate.
And yet most conservatives think Republicans are better at handling immigration? I think the issue has never been about legal vs illegal immigration, it's about certain people enjoying to see pain inflicted on people who look different to them. Cruelty is the point.
3 million over eight years, versus 1.7 million over one year. If Trump doesn't choke on a Big Mac, and keeps this up for 4 years, that would be over 13.5 million.

He wasnt sending ICE into court houses to deport people who were following the legal process for claiming asylum
He wasnt sending ICE into neighbourhoods snatching people off the street because of the colour of their skin or the accent they spoke
And when you compare the rates of deportations he won't have gotten anywhere near what Trumps illegal actions have achieved
