I don't see why that makes things better, just shows that the source of the lost freedom is bigotry and hate.
just to make the point it isnt extraordinry to have thoses laws. Immigration control is tied to a lot of issue, that the direct benificiary are the citizen.

that wasnt my point. these law are the consequence of immigration because it wasnt control in the first place. i never had to decline identity in place where immigration where inexistent, but i had to in place where it was high.

i live in a country where every week somebody is aggressed, rape or murder by somebody that have the obligation to leave the country. I would totally prefer that it wasnt the case and if it was true i wouldnt be ok with that. We arent abble to control immigration because of the European Union, so we get measures like those. Uncontrolled immigration has negative consequence.
It's a country of 300 million people.

The US doesn't have a monopoly on racism. Right wing bigots in Europe have been stirring up anti-immigrant sentiment (and that's part of what was behind Brexit)

There is a Big difference between requiring documentation to stay in a country and enforcing said policy by requiring everyone to carry papers.
Bigmouth's got plenty of room to fit that boot in their mouth as long as they're told the policy is about hurting immigrants

Your question of enforcement only makes sense if you think "papers please" is the only way to enforce this law. Other means of enforcement include requiring papers when applying for employment or any government program or purchasing interstate travel or purchasing lethal means.

If you were a human trafficker you would prefer "papers please". Without that law your stock might wander off and find their own freedom. With ICE roaming about the trafficked are more scared to be in public. I'm not sure how people are trafficked in France but out here they do so in secret compartments in trucks.

As a kid I ran freely around the neighborhood and my family never had to worry that I had taken my identification with me. Never had to worry that it might fall out of my pocket.

tbh i fear drug traffic a lot more than police. Nasty shit happened bc of it. Police werent always nice but they never mistreat me and while i dont like being subject to those control it s not like i fear them

Wel, the migrant are literally unable to integrate society considering they come from country where you can legaly kill a maried women if she was raped. I dont want them in my society. It s not the biggot that have taught le to fear migrants, its migrant. If i had the oportunity i will 100% deport them all. Like i dont like to have to accompagne every female relative to train stattion cause we live in a fucked up country and even for a 500m walk you dont know what could happen. Just yesterday somone that was litteraly already condamned to leave the country after being judge for crime raped a 90 year old lady. I dont want to make society with theses individual.
