Leave your cellphone at home. THey can track it, confiscate it at protests. Don't turn it off and take it to one, they can get a warrant to get information from a carrier to know where and when it was turned off to use it against you. Leave it at home, turned on so it looks like normal behavior. Cellphones are narcs.

Dazzle camouflage would probably work better against AI and facial recognition. Highly reflective clothing would probably also work.

Reflective clothing on a bike is actually a pretty good safety tip for riding after dark
