what kind of a ceo thinks that schmoozing diplomats is a waste of time? every one of them represents a potential government to scam. this musk guy doesnt seem very clever

From Pedo-stein's standpoint, you don't go visit the diplomats begging for contracts... you wait for them to come begging you to take their money.

a large part of grifting off states is implicating your firm into spaces you're not needed. just relying on proxies in media and US power to push it forward is lazy CEO'ing.

who's going to move more starlink boxes, a prefectural head talking to a world bank regional officer about vague economic development plans or a starstruck chief diplomat with the president's ear? inasmuch as Elon Musk is capable of impressing Mongolia or where-ever's UN guy

Capitalism is so corrupt that a man with zero intellect, negative charisma and fumbling opportunities handed to him on a silver platter can fail upwards into being the richest man on earth.

Musk is proof how much of an easy mode these guys are running on. He must infuriate them with how obvious he makes it.

Yeah honestly it has changed my analysis to some extent. I think I overestimated the influence of these relationships between wealthy and diplomats/politicians. Turns out, the material force behind both was the strongest once again lol
