short seasons could work if the writers weren't talentless hacks and the producers believed in an optimistic future and characters who model professionalism.

I'm on episode two of Star fleet academy and I've got to say it feels better.

Except for those stupid DOT robots. FFS get rid of them!

All I can say is I'm enjoying it. First episode I was not convinced, but two and three were fun, and felt star treky.

Fair enough. I'm not a big nu-trek fan, so its not exactly been enjoyment central.
