male victims of pretty much anything are underserved because of toxic masculinity and patriarchal attitudes about what is abuse and who can be abused.

how many of those 40% are comfortable reporting? how many reports of DV lead to an arrest regardless of gender?

I was thinking about that. Most violence against men is also perpetrated by men afaik. But this could be an exception, I have no idea

Depends on how the stat is calculated, but it also may be two (or more?) males who are not in a romantic relationship (brothers, father/son, etc...)

Susan B Anthony was once arrested and the judges literally decided because she was a woman, to let her off easy. They were hardly feminist allies if that was the case, so I doubt that tradition started because of civil rights activists.
