I'm going to criticize the WETA Space Marine 2 sculpture. That shit is a huge ripoff at $1400 and this guy is a sucker. It even comes fully assembled! You don't get to paint it or assemble it or anything!
As to my opinion on the rest of the space, I plead the fifth.
It's what I hate about all the WH collector memorabilia...it comes painted and assembled. I don't want that stuff all done up. The default should require glue and paint.
I know it's gatekeeping because not everyone has the time/resources to get into Warhammer but they still want to enjoy parts of it. But what irritates me is filthy secondaries will whine and complain about "Muh lore! Muh femaaaaaaaale genetically engineered supersoldiers aren't cannon!" Just fuck off with that nonsense.
The person who put the time and effort into painting their female Custodes has priority when it comes to fluff. Or the purple-skinned ork player. Or the catgirl maid Imperial Guard. The whole point of Warhammer was to give people an excuse to use whatever toy soldiers to play against anyone else's toy soldiers without needing to worry about historical accuracy or cannon or whatever.
It's even sadder because he clearly has money for the obvious excessive 40k project: a warlord titan. It'd still be a ripoff, but at least I'd respect that he put in the effort and time.
I just assumed the models were assembled, because I don't understand buying figurines
