I'm just a "ignorant" leftist. I don't even believe I have any value because of the things I outlined. I mean how can I view myself as anything capable because I'm an adult stuck living with my family. Can't even get my own house. Struggle to find maintain employment.

I know you're probably not asking for some self-validation or anything, but I just feel compelled when I hear someone say these things, you are infinitely valuable! Capitalism tells us our value comes from our ability to 'provide' or generate wealth, but just being a living human gives you as much value as any other being alive. You didn't choose this life or to be the proletarian you are, but you have the ability to act and manipulate the world like we all do. All of us are essential to the socialist project. Just being here and recognizing these issues and those of the class system makes you an immensely valuable voice in our struggle.

You are correct that we are being driven to the cliff edge, but the future isn't made yet, we still can act and change things. If it was all failed and hopeless the capitalists would have given up their game but they still fight, so we must fight still. Don't give up cuddle fidel-salute

idk how to feel about this, like I really appreciate the thought, but isn't telling me not to give up implying that if I was left to my own thought I'd choose to give up?

Like it's not your fault you can't do anything about it and I don't blame you. I blame the system, but the most difficult part about believing in socialism is that they couldn't even save me from being forced to sell my own body to survive. And I'm still being asked to believe in Socialism. I really hope people understand the toll this has on my mental health.

I almost deleted that part because I didn't mean to imply you were going to give up, I sort of meant that phrase to people feeling down in general and didn't mean to say you were going to or that you can't give up if that's what you want to do.

I'm not trying to ask you to believe in socialism, I don't think anyone has to believe in anything if they don't feel it's what they truly believe.

I was just trying to say, you don't have to do anything or be any certain way, you are good as you are and deserve happiness as much as anyone.
