Me (13 years old at the time): Dad, Mom’s cheating on you. I saw her making out with this man.

Dad: Listen here, princess. The guy’s filthy rich, and when you have money, it’s normal to have a hot mistress like your mom.

Me: But aren’t you jealous?

Dad: laughs

I was flabbergasted, lmao.

It is a common misconception, especially in the US where "white" racism against other groups is so prevalent and extreme, that it is in some way involves or is limited to specific races.

Pretty much every race or ethnic group demonstrates racism against other groups on some level.

Plenty of examples in history where even cultures where everybody is basically the same race, they find reasons to kill each other.

There were hundreds of Mayan city-states, until someone decided to unite them all, and then it was join or die. Sometimes it was just die. They were all the same race, but people like to kill each other, so they invent reasons. We're weird like that.

Absolutely, humans are pack animals from an evolutionary stand point. Our built in instincts are to form groups for protection.

The leveraging of that for profit/socio-political benefit is the real cancer in this. All of it is despicable, but that's a root cause. 🤌🏼
