Your post subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.
Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.
Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.
Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Posts and comments which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.
Rule 6- Regarding non-TIL posts.
Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-TIL posts using the [META] tag on your post title.
Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.
If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

And your dog has a bigger carbon footprint than an SUV over the course of their lifetime.
The average dog is responsible for a carbon footprint of 770kg of CO2 per year, which is 11,500kg for an average 15 year life span of a dog (many don't live that old, but it's a round number). https://www.zerosmart.co.uk/post/the-average-carbon-footprint-of-a-pet
The average gas car has a carbon footprint of 76,000kg over its lifetime. https://www.hotcars.com/the-truth-about-the-carbon-footprint-of-a-new-car-that-no-ones-talking-about/
Even if you were correct, one extends your life and the other kills people around you.
What if one's name is Cujo?
This is great news, cause we need less people and more dogs.
AND one lays eggs!
And think about the return on those eggs!
I thought Robin laid an egg, and The Joker got away?
First the Batmobile lost its wheel.
So do you. Your point?
My point was at the end of my sentence. It's called a period. If I were forced to elaborate it would be this, it sucks that good things can also be bad things.
You seem like a fun guy. I bet your co-workers look forward to spending hours in your company every day.
Thanks. I always enjoy my time spent with others, and try to make them feel my enjoyment through my behavior. It's uplifting to hear that shine through the limited exchange we have using just text. To be honest I'm sometimes worried that people might misconstrue my glibness as antagonism, so I'm glad you spoke up and dampened my fears. I also hope your coworkers look forward to seeing you everyday. Have a nice afternoon, and keep being a nice person.
Oh, you look as the most "nice guy" type of person here! I bet you are sophisticated enough to wear a fedora!
I get it you like dogs. They're nice.
Edit: It's also pretty hilarious that I've been misgendered twice despite having my name in my username.
For the gender thing, the only Kim I personally know is a man, so that's not really an indication of gender.
Kim Jong Un, right? And in Denmark you would also be a boy. It almost feel like you and people around you almost have an understanding, but something is always missing.
The point of wanting to save the planet is so that life forms can enjoy it. Why is that a bad thing? You're making no sense.
Here is the entirety of my thought process leading up to this point.
Step 1. Someone posted a TIL about dogs.
Step 2. I replied with something most people probably don't know about dogs that I learned from a funny song I remember.
I don't have a greater point, and people are pissed.
Probably because your "thing people probably dont know" is a lie?
"So does your baby, maybe you should trade him in for a Prius"
Somebody got the joke!
That's some "Heartland Institute" tier bullshit math, if ever I've heard it.
I've got a fun fact that's true but will get you cancelled.
Declawed cats live longer.
People will lose their minds over it.
It's technically true but only because people who declaw their cats keep them indoors at higher rate than non declawed cat. This rate is high enough to offset the reduction in lifespan that accompanies getting a cat declawed.
So on an individual left it's not true but when you p-hack you can make a lot of nonsense things sound true.
For example, I bet the co2 thing is an understatement if you select only for dogs of celebrities where the owner takes them in airplanes often. It's possible the original statement was something along those lines but our human memory loves to drop those critical details.
That seems incredibly dependent on the dog’s size and average lifespan.
It's anecdotal but when I was growing up, every time I would get home from school our dog would be in the backyard burning tires and car batteries. Every time. I don't even know where he got them.
What if your dog clears old growth forestry to raise a herd of cows? 🤔
Then I would take the chainsaw away from him and ask who taught him to do it.
Maybe... A SUV...FOR ANTS!
ANTSUV Coming soon to dealerships in your backyard.
Yeah I misremembered something from a song. It's 4 wheel drive, and I bet the song is so old SUVs have doubled in size since the. Lol
