They don't want to justify bombing Palestinian children. Working to justify killing Palestinians concedes that it would even require justification in the first place and they do not believe that. By trying to justify bombing Palestinian children, Bernie is admitting that they could be considered human, which is a bridge too far for these guys. It's all I can figure.
