I'd love if we as a society could just stop using the word "woke" for a while.

Cause at this point its basically just a nebulous buzzword that means anything dependent on where you sit on the political spectrum.

Yeah I was gonna say, wait, being a nazi pedophile is now 'woke'?

The word continues to just mean roughly 'politically bad', with specifics beyond that varying wildly from person to person.

I think you missed the joke.

High gas prices are a way of making renewable transition more profitable. Person posting is basically saying trump willingly increased the gas prices and that is kind of "woke".

I stumbled as well.

While true, in my opinion, there is not enough context in the image itself to conclude the creator of the image was thinking about that.

They could easily just be lamenting high gas prices, because they love gas powered vehicles, and are just using 'woke' as 'politically bad'.
