On March 12, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave his first press conference since the U.S. and Israel first attacked Iran. Some social media users doubted the authenticity of the video address, and led them to question whether Netanyahu was still alive.
In the image, Netanyahu is pointing with both hands, and social media users said his right hand appears to have six fingers.
But upon closer look at the video, Netanyahu’s hands looked normal. A trick of light likely made part of his palm appear to be an extra finger.

He gestured with his hands a lot and no irregularities appeared.
No irregularities appeared, which is why people observed irregularities.
His right hand (viewers left) does weird stuff and has artifacts the other hand doesn't a couple of times. From 5:28 in the briefing:

They must hire people directly from reddit to write for them. This is the most basic bad-faith smuglord trick in the book. The claim isn't that the video proves he's dead, the claim is it looks like he has an extra finger, which it does.

So the aspect here that keeps the line blurry is that YT has been reprocessing videos through AI, meaning it's possible these AI artifacts are coming from that.
Yes. Absolutely.
All the people saying we are delusional for calling it AI are just ignoring all of the clear evidence of AI here.
Delusion is to ignore evidence, and those who are arguing against the idea that this video has AI involved it are themselves being delusional.
That being said, exactly as you've pointed out, YouTube auto-compresses videos with AI without creators permission. So that's what could be going on. But the fact-checkers here are being a bit weird denying the 6 fingers thing.
Yes people need to understand that even the videos YOU upload could have AI artifacts in it because of the AI post processing YouTube is doing.
