The younglings honestly don't understand this has been happening for decades before trump showed up.
The silver lining is trump is so fucking bad at selling it, that damn near everyone is realizing what he's doing. They thought Iran would get them support, but it's fairly obvious they know how calendars and our government works...
They'll drag it out till midterms with likely escalations leading up to election day. Everytime trump mitigates gas prices and brags, Iran can just squeeze harder.
Reminiscent of Nixon with Vietnam, except no one has to convince Iran they're better off with a muzzled trump than one who can do anything he wants with the American military.
