Make sure there are safe people in your community that know about self defense and community defense. Get involved in anti ICE patrols. Learn how to bake. Have a normal amount of food and supplements in your pantry. Make 48h kits. Basic disaster preparation is plenty. Long term stockpiles should be managed by a community organization like a free store or food cooperative. A warehouse is just better for that kind of thing than a personal closet.
