Does anyone here feel their age? Physically or mentally.

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Mentally nope, physically... it'd like an entire new spine please. And knees. Maybe just do the whole lot.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, but, like, your hair. That's all I have to say.

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 2 points 4 days ago

That isn't skeletal ๐Ÿ˜บ

[โ€“] TheWitchofThornbury2@aussie.zone 5 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Nope. Never have. I think I'm chronologically challenged. Even as a child I felt I was a different age to the elapsed time record. This still applies. Though I do find that as age advances (I'm well over 60), that physical deterioration can be a bit of a reality check. Inside my head I'm still a teenager.

[โ€“] Force_majeure1234@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago (2 children)

You definitely give that vibe honestly

It is my ambition to grow old disgracefully, or maybe gracelessly. Working on it.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago

You give mad timeless teenage energy, it's freaking beautiful to witness!

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 1 points 5 days ago

You have such amazing energy, this matches up perfectly!

Interesting question! Do I feel 48. I don't know what what 48 is meant to feel like. I feel I'm at my peak now where I can concentrate on me and what I want going forward. Maybe I do come across as cocky but I don't give a fuck. I prefer confident, strong and I'm gonna keep that as long as possible. ๐Ÿ’ช

I LOVE this. I don't ever think you come across as cocky, but just confident and aware of who you are which I SOOOOO admire. I really respect your energy and spirit!! I genuinely hope you help feel others to feel confident and strong and own exactly who they are because honestly, you inspire me. Thank you for being exactly who you are!!

What makes this so, question?

[โ€“] calhoon2005@aussie.zone 3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

My watch says my fitness age is 33. At this point I think I've maybe accidentally upgraded the OS to something more supportive than accurate.

Oooh interesting!! In one or the other?

[โ€“] SituationCake@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

It varies. In some aspects I feel really old, in others I feel like Iโ€™m behind and others have out-adulted me.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 1 points 5 days ago

Interesting! How do you feel out adulted or left behind? What's something that's made you realise that fuck standards, you are SOOOO FUCKIN' ahead?

[โ€“] Force_majeure1234@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

I've felt about 30 y.o since I was 10. I'm now approaching 40 and feel the same

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Okay, put approaching 40? Legit thought you had just barely passed 30. Get it boy!

Well I'm turning 36. Getting there!

[โ€“] Bottom_racer@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

When I've been drinking nope.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Do you feel older or younger?

[โ€“] tone212_@aussie.zone 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

Mentally, definitely not. Iโ€™m perpetually 25. Im waiting to act like a grown up.

Physically, Iโ€™m doing ok because Iโ€™ve worked on my fitness levels in recent years. Still when I pull a muscle, it hurts harder and longer now.

[โ€“] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 1 points 5 days ago

I've gained a lot of weight but am aware of my limits and am working on them. No thanks to pulling a muscle getting out of bed but also know that to some extent it's out of my power.
