Its not a point. It changes nothing in the discussion.
Bro, it's a little food. They're not knocking over shelves and burning places to the ground. Walmart can get fucked, as far as I'm concerned Walmart created their own problem.
Its not a little food people walk out with shopping carts full of meat and other expensive items. Its not just Walmart this affects every store.
How do the losses compare to the profits? How do the profits compare to charitable donations? How do the profits compare to taxation? How do the profits compare to average employee wage? You recognize the side you're taking, right? You're trying to adhere to a moral line when dealing with a blatently immoral entity.
These are not losses. They'll just push up the price of goods based on their chance of being stolen.
You're not stealing from the store, you're stealing from everyone else that actually pays for the products.
Unless you're stealing from a small shop that doesn't have the time and resources to calculate price based on theft. In which case, you are an asshole for stealing from a small business.

I don't understand how asking that question to "my politicians" would achieve anything.
"My politicians" are not arguing that prices increasing by a bit makes it okay for prices to increase by a lot. I'd argue that most of them would say that a little bit of inflation is good for the economy while hyperinflation is bad. Which I interpret as them knowing that "a little" is not the same as "a lot". Which the above commenter doesn't seem to know. Or at least knows only when it is convenient. Schrodinger's knowledge perhaps.

Why do food stamp type programs exist?

I'm bias to Izzy because hes from my city but hes on the tail end of his career. But I'm gonna say Izzy because his striking is levels above pyfer and hes been fighting power punchers with bad footwork his entire career. I think theres a pretty good chance Pyfer chins him and ill be sad.
That's pretty much the exact take I have aside from the "my city" part lmfao. Izzy could get caught and if he does I think he goes out. If not, he'll pick Pyfer apart on the outside and win by UD.
Ive seen so many of my beloved unc fighters slimed out recently I'm kinda expecting it to happen to Izzy as well.
