There is a pretty big movement in Denmark that tried to avoid US products and companies based in Denmark. I assume this is why they have launched a massive campaign where they use local sayings in a humorous way.

I saw these ads and was surprised at how transparent they are. But maybe only to people who are already on the “let’s not feed the superpower as it falls into outright fascism” train?

Just visited Denmark a few weeks ago and seemed like an obvious "Dane-washing" of a famously American brand. I think they noticed.
