Ryan Grimm, for his part, said that Naval Special Warfare units were given deployment orders today. My current bet is that Kharg is the distraction and they actually want to make a play for Iran's uranium stockpile. Arguably even stupider than trying to take Kharg Island.

We're going to see dead seal operators like frankly no one has seen outside of the vietnam war folks!

Based on reports as of March 2026, a significant portion of Iran's uranium stockpile—including around 440 kg of 60% enriched uranium—is believed to be stored within a tunnel complex at the Isfahan nuclear site

Oh cool they are going to fly and send troops to the MIDDLE OF IRAN, WHAT ARE THEY THINKING? avgn-horror

Have you never played a video game? If you capture enemy flag the color of the country changes and everyone supports you now. That's how this works.

Maybe there has to be a certain amount of human sacrifice for the messiah to return? I'm not a bible scholar but it seems to make the most sense..

I hate that this could actually be a part of the US planning for this.

I only see one way to get rid of that much uranium quickly and efficently. They'd have to penetrate the stockpile and rather than try to transport it up to a cargo plane or helicopter, you'd have to use a nuclear explosion to melt it into the bedrock of the stockpile itself. They used to do that with old nuclear tests. They could even chalk it up as Iran just merely conducting a nuclear test rather than an a committed nuclear attack by the US/Israel.
