The answer is shower after. Every time. The shower is the reward for doing the physical work.

You sound like someone who doesn't have adhd. At least not the typical types. Reward after a task generally doesn't work for adhd. In fact that's kind of the heart of the condition. It's an impaired executive function.

But if I have to move, then it is work, so where is the reward for the reward? Who is going to dry me off, carry me to bed, feed me cake, and tell me I'm cute?
