Absolutely this. Roaming in America is not the same as available to people living in America.
Yes and no. "Not available" in this context means "you have to import it yourself" (paying tariffs etc.)
There is as far as I can tell no reason for it to not work with an American SIM card.
And based on demand they're willing to make a US specific model.
And how do you get demand when you don't sell a phone there.
Good question, in that same section it says to subscribe to show interest. But no way to show I'm interested in a US version.
