The treatment for dysphoria is transition, the more you transition the less dysphoria
Six months tomorrow. The only treatment doesn't seem to be helping much.
Six months is still very early, also have you been eating more than before transitioning because you need to eat more to see better results. I would reckon putting on 15-30 pounds over the next year would be good for ya. You will see results eventually, you just gotta keep on trucking.
I mean yea :/ still hasn't lowered my dysphoria though. When will it. Not really, about the same. I'm not going to purposely gain weight until I can move out and get on pio.
Yeah that sounds about right my dysphoria got way worse for the first 9 months than it was before starting e, also what's pio and if you don't increase your caloric intake growing boobs is a lot harder
well damn :/
Pioglitazone is a diabetes med, it boosts subq fat production though so it feminizes you. There's risks, whatever, research it if/before you take it. But it does help feminize. I lost a bunch of weight 5~ years ago so if I gain weight rn I worry it will just go back to those fat cells instead of going to new subq cells. Either way I am eating, just not purposely gaining weight, I'm not losing it or anything. Eat when I'm hungry. Actually started eating lunch more.
If your on estrogen it won't go to those old fat cells and maybe 20-30 pounds is too much for you but even ten will accentuate your hips and good job on eating lunch more regularly 3 meals and 2 snacks is what you should aim for
Yes transitioning isnt just taking HRT, socially, etc is all part of that.
I've been socially transitioning for longer, coming out to friends etc.
Parents too?
That would absolutely not help my dysphoria ๐ ik I haven't talked about them much in a while but that will not make things better.
