kinda ominous, itโ€™s one of those moments where you can see who is a writer and an entertainer, like a power struggle between the man (Drake) and the little guy (Kendrick)

Literally speaking, neither are really the little guy, but imo you can see who views music as a nourishment for the soul and who treats it as something to be consumed. And damn does it show

Also, I feel like these moments make me foolishly hopefully that people will notice the aforementioned microcosm of a factor that makes life hard for fucking everyone, but it never seems to come does it.

The part in not like us about Atlanta is masterful. And Drake is not getting it - Kendrick says the metaphors are flying over his head. Def a entertainer vs artist battle.

I am familiar with Kendrick's albums.

I don't think I ever listened to anything Drake (I am not following this controversy, but it's hard to avoid now). Can you recommend me an LP or EP?

I like the classics from Nas to Ice-T, Cypress to Wu-Tang, Biggie 2Pac. MF DOOM is my ๐Ÿ Nowadays I really like billy woods.

Start with good kid, m.A.A.d city

To Pimp a Butterfly is also good.

I didn't like DAMN a lot personally but it won a Pulitzer so you might like it from a lyricism standpoint based on the artists you listed.
