But 'cold' and 'heated' are bad. People are weird about temperature.

I guess if your temperature is 103 then it's bad, unless you're a Foreigner.
And sizzling is good.
Yet, some of my favorite communities are Mildly Interesting and Mildly Infuriating.
But lukewarm and mid isn't.
And when I blow hot one minute and cold the next, suddenly everyone has a problem with it :(

What's the word for something in the middle? Tepid?
These days, it's "mid".

But then we also don't like people too far from average.
People are cool and hot but bodies are cold or warm
