"Ukraine to be given an excuse why it was baited with a NATO-on-a-stick and thrown away like a broken screwdriver"

I wonder how all the fascists that have been trained and armed over the past decade will feel when they realized that the west is discarding them like a used condom.

Good thing they don't have literal stockpiles of military rifles that dissappear off the ledger the second they crossed the border.

the west created a staggering black market for weapons at the start of the war

Jonas Ohman is founder and CEO of Blue-Yellow, a Lithuania-based organization that has been meeting with and supplying frontline units with non-lethal military aid in Ukraine since the start of the conflict with Russia-backed separatists in 2014. Back in April, he estimated that just "30-40%" of the supplies coming across the border reached its final destination. But he says the situation has significantly improved since then and a much larger quantity now gets where it's supposed to go.

The great thing about being a Banderite is history treating you as a useful idiot twice.

[-] davel@lemmygrad.ml 18 points 1 week ago

Exactly. Ukraine is infamously corrupt, but Ukraine wasn’t and isn’t going to be admitted to NATO regardless.

[-] SovietyWoomy@hexbear.net 37 points 1 week ago

Too corrupt to join Nato, but just corrupt enough to get another $2.3 billion in weapons.

[-] yogthos@lemmygrad.ml 25 points 1 week ago

lol right, like the whole thing is dark comedy

[-] NikkiB@lemmygrad.ml 25 points 1 week ago

You gotta love that old bait-and-switch. Whose fault is the corruption again?

The U.S. doesn't care it's being hypocritical. The cruelty is the point.

Too corrupt:
The nazis they've been funding over the past decade or so are too overly nazi.
They can only accept Nazi lite nations or else their shit stained veil will slide out and reveal what their real intentions are to their own local populations.
